I know I haven't been blogging very much at all.  I am taking a little break after Evanescent and not writing as much, but I do have a few chapters of both Book 2 of The Sempiternal Series completed and also a few of the new adolescent paranormal, which I'm not quite sure which direction it's heading in yet.  I just haven't been as aggressive, but don't worry, I am thinking both of these books will be done at about the same time.

I need some book recommendations, so any you post for me would be greatly appreciated! <3  Enjoy your day!

Thank you to everyone who helped with the release day event.  It was truly successful as Evanescent broke the paid 100 mark and even got down to #13 in Dark Fantasy on Amazon.  It has been a lot of hard work getting the news spread of this book, and I couldn't have done it alone.

My new street team - you guys rock!!  I couldn't have asked for a better bunch of gals to joke around with and look forward to learning more about you all.

Paperbacks are being ordered.  If anyone wants one, just message me on facebook, website - wherever.  I'll get you one.

There are also 2 giveaways going on right now, a custom made Evanescent necklace for release day and a signed Evanescent paperback for the blog tour going on right now.  You can check those both out on my website:  www.saravzook.com

I seriously love being a writer.  <3 - Sara

Cover Reveal day is finally here!  I have been waiting patiently (well somewhat) to show everyone the beautiful cover created by Stefanie Fontecha at Beetiful

I would like to thank Debra at Book Enthusiast Promotions for organizing the Cover Reveal and for all of the many bloggers that participated.

It is starting to feel like I need a whole team to put all of this together, and it's wonderful to know I have so many talented people to back me up!

I know Wendy is probably just as excited as I am for the release of our book, which will be February 23.  I just handed the manuscript over into the hands of the editor tonight.  It's pretty much on cruise control right now.  I'll probably take a few weeks off writing and spend some time reading ...

What else?  What else?  I feel like I have so much going on!

We are having a cover reveal giveaway for the next few days.  You can enter to win a beautiful custom made leather book mark made by the lovely Kat over at Klockwerk Kreations

You can enter that here:  Evanescent Cover Reveal Giveaway

Oh, and we have created The Sempiternal Fan Page to keep you updated on all Sempiternal news and giveaways.  We plan on having a lot of fun on the page, so join us here:  The Sempiternal Fan Page

I think that's all for now!  Phew! :)  Don't forget to check out Evanescent on February 23!

It's almost time to release Evanescent, The Sempiternal Series Book 1 and here's a little teaser ...

COVER REVEAL SOON!

Wednesday, January 1, 2014

Another year is before me.  I was so happy to finish my first series, the Strange in Skin Trilogy, in 2012 and get 2 books out last year.  That trilogy's book tour is finishing up in the coming days, and I hope to wrap up the first book of the new series this month.

It's amazing to think I wrote Strange in Skin without thinking anyone would ever read it.  I'm so much more aware of the fact now that when I write, I'm writing for the book's audience, wanting them to be lured into the story and plot line and want more.

I'm hoping to have a cover reveal soon for everyone along with the book's title and series title.

Great things ahead - Happy New Year's my friends! :) Cheers!
