I've been getting a lot of messages and questions concerning A Magic Within, so I'll address most of them here.  The book was written for my niece, who is 11, so it's directed more at a middle school age group.  I am so thrilled to hear that adults are loving it also.  So the age factor of the kids in the book are pre-teen which is why there is no love story.  There is, however, the potential for a love story later on, which brings me to the next question, that yes, A Magic Within is going to be a series.  So any unanswered questions or details you have from reading the book, if you felt certain things were incomplete, it's because it wasn't time to reveal that particular twist or secret yet. It's low key and no foul language or love scenes because of the age group that it was written for.  Feel free to ask me anything else that you're wondering about the book.  I love getting all of these questions and love that you're reading my new release! <3

I'm back from vacation.  The beach was amazing and I had a great time with friends and all of our munchkins.  It was probably one of the first times I actually didn't want to leave by the end of the week.  I didn't do any writing while there, but my mind is always going a mile a minute on the next project.  I hope to get two more books done this year.  Next up is something a little different for me.  I don't want to give away any surprises.  I gave my street team a little glimpse today.  It's not going to be paranormal or young adult.  I'm thinking late summer/early fall for release.

I'm working on getting everything ready for the Believe, Hope, Live convention.  If you haven't checked out what it's all about, it's a wonderful charity benefit.  I'll leave you with the link so you can look it over and hopefully attend too!

I'm trying to get things ready for this book to come out.  It always makes for a busy month.  I have swag coming and trying to gather up bloggers for the 2-day blitz along with readers to attend the release day event, which just so happens to be a few days before my birthday, so I've made it into a birthday bash as well.  :)

So, if you're a blogger and would like to sign up for the release day blitz hosted by the Juniper Grove Book Solutions, here's the link:

Cover Reveal Day!

Release Date is June 18, 2014

Normalcy. I need to get back to a state of normalcy. What’s happened to me? Why am I here in this orphanage, and why am I forbidden to leave? Everyone is so very cruel here. I can’t eat. I can’t sleep. It’s the paranoia getting to me. It’s like someone’s always watching, always listening. There’s a general fear around here, and for some reason, it seems fueled by my arrival, but why are they afraid of me? I didn’t ask for this. I don’t even know how I got here. I need to go home. My parents must be worried sick. There has to be someone here who can help me, who can give me answers and lead me in the right direction so I can get out of here. There is this one boy, Lydic. Could he be my key to getting out? I can see it in his eyes he feels sorry for me. He seems to know more than he’s letting on. These people aren’t like anyone I’ve ever met before.
